Relief activity on site
This is a relief activity to wash contaminated clothes and blankets of victims through mobile laundry relief vehicles.
Laundry relief offers clothes and beddings laundry services for victims of disasters using a mobile laundry vehicle.
In the Special Summer Disaster Period (from May 15th to Oct 15th), vehicles and Hope Bridge members are sent to the site to perform laundry relief activities.
In times of no particular disasters, laundry services for blankets are carried out at the change of seasons for households vulnerable to disasters.
Mobile laundry vehicle
Hope Bridge has two 5-ton vehicles and one 7-ton vehicle. The laundry relief vehicles are equipped with three 18kg laundry machines and three driers. In order to provide prompt and effective laundry relief, the laundry vehicles are equipped with their own generators and regular inspections are carried out.
Portable toilet and portable shower booths
We support portable toilets and shower booths to ease the discomfort of victims and volunteers.
In the event of a disaster, portable toilets and shower booths are provided to relieve the discomfort of victims and volunteers when there aren’t enough temporary facilities. Paju relief logistics center has one portable toilet set (male/female) and two portable shower booths (one male and one female). Depending on the size of the damage, additional support is available through lease.
